I have 4 kids (11, 10, and 3-year old twins) and I got my Medela with my first, nursed exclusively with the first two and for 7 months with supplements with my twins WHILE working full-time most of the time. THE MEDELA IS AWESOME! I had the "pump in style" but I think the name may have changed but it's the cadillac model that comes in it's own case. (It was $250 12 years ago!) But it was worth every penny. I just passed it on to my cousin who had her first baby in February so it continues to serves my family (and extended family) well.

My Medela was my best friend after I had my son. He was also a preemie & couldn't nurse. I had to feed him with a tube to begin with. I pumped the first 12 1/2 months of his life. I bought a brand new pump right before he was born & within six months, my pump died. I had pumped so much milk (about 72 oz. a day) that the motor just died. I called the company & they overnighted me a brand new one for FREE! I couldn't be happier with the Medela & I plan to use mine again for the next baby!
