June Weekend Events: It’s Summertime! 06/08-10

appurgent_468x60-animation

It’ Summertime, and time for lots of Summer activities! With school out now, I know lots of people are busy with vacations and such, but there are also great things to do right here in the High Country. Many people all over find themselves having to used restraints on long or far away vacations, but we happen to live in a blessed area of North Carolina that offers tremendous adventures right here in the mountains.

You might be among the ones that are having a “Stay-cation” instead of an “Away-cation”, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring! Some ideas are Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, Doc’s Gem Mine, Blowing Rock’s Art in the Park, Downtown Boone’s Art Crawl, Hawksnest Zipline, Grandfather Mountain, and so many more attractions and recreational things to do. You’ll be amazed! Check this website out for more ideas at http://highcountryhost.com.

Take a look here at some of the weekend events going on and have a blast, then explore all that Watauga county and the surrounding counties have to offer!
