My New Make-up Tips and Deals on ELF Cosmetics

You guys know I love E.L.F. (Eyes Lips Face) Cosmetics, and have switched almost entirely over to it. I wear it very Thursday on my MomTV Show, so you know it’s good. (Unless, of course, you think I look awful on my show. In which case, don’t tell me!)

Expert EyeAfter several months of doing my regular basic make-up routine on my eyes (Purple/gray Eyeshadow, Slate Liquid Eyeliner Pen), I’ve been experimenting with Basic Browns and finding it doesn’t have to be boring! I found this great kit with three Mineral Eye Shadows that creates a great look.

  1. Brush the Lightest Shade across the entire eyelid, extending up to the browbone.
  2. Brush the Medium Brown across the eyelid, starting in the outer corner and going across the eyelid below the crease. Make sure it is darker toward the outside, blending toward the lighter inside of the lid.
  3. Using the more targeted brush, or the foam applicator, apply the Darkest Shade from the outer corner, across the lash line, and in the crease.

Although there is a pencil in this kit, I am now a huge fan of liquid eyeliner and use it almost exclusively. I also always use Black Mascara. (I really like Cover Girl Mascara better, but mascara is the only ELF product I’ve found lacking so far)

E.L.F. is having some GREAT promotions this month, as well, but they are ONLY good through March 10th!

Love the ELF liquid liner pen, but my cap wasn’t on well and it dried up! Boohoo! I’d love to get another one, and it’s only $1, but shipping is $6 (or close to it) so I am patiently waiting (and saving) so I can buy enough other make-up for it to be worth the shipping. I too love the ELF stuff, thanks to you Sarah!
