Have you ever wondered how we here in our little mountain town can help people across the world? We have an international relief organization right here in the High Country that reaches across the world, and right here in our own nation!

Samaritan’s Purse is located in Boone on Bamboo Road, and is home to the Operation Christmas Child program, bringing the joy of gifts, and the love of God to those who need the most.

The idea is simple:  We pack small gifts in a shoebox, and send it through Samaritans Purse to children all over.  The process is simple as well!

1. GET AN EMPTY SHOE BOX
…or a plastic container. Wrap the top and bottom separately

2. DETERMINE WHO YOU WANT YOUR GIFT TO GO TO.
Boy or girl? ages 2-4, 5-9, 10-12?)

3. FILL WITH GIFTS
Don’t include liquids, chocolate, or “war” type toys

4. INCLUDE YOUR DONATION
Write a check for $7 for shipping, to Samaritan’s Purse (OCC in the subject line)

5. DROP OFF YOUR GIFTS
Bring them to Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, or send to :
