SEPT 19 Concert On the Lawn – Songwriters’ Competition, Deborah Sheets, Shay Lovette, Mat Rue
At the Jones House in Downtown Boone, 5 PM. FREE, bring your own Chair. www.watauga-arts.org

SEPT 19 Watauga High School Football
Home Game vs Ashe HS at 7:30. Middle School Band night! And Elementary/Middle School Cheerleaders perform.

SEPT 19-20 Boone United Methodist Fall Bazaar
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
A silent auction, with items from local businesses: Friday until 6:00 p.m.
Boone Police child identification cards on Friday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.
The event benefits the church building fund and local missions.
The Watauga County Recycling Department will debut its reusable shopping bag campaign at the bazaar. These sturdy shopping bags will be distributed to the public, free of charge, thanks to several local businesses. For more info, call 828-264-6090.
