DEC 5-14 A High Country Christmas Carol
Blowing Rock Stage Company veteran playwright, Robert Inman, brings the Dickens classic to the modern stage. Set in the Depression-era North Carolina mountains, A High Country Christmas Carol is the story of a curmudgeonly country store owner Silas McTavish, who rediscovers the magic of Christmas with the help of an unexpected Christmas Eve visitor. DEC 5 Flapjack Flip to benefit Watauga Education Foundation
At Watauga High School, 7:30-11:00 AM. Yummy pancakes and coffee from Conrad’s! All proceds to benefit the Watauga Education Foundation! For more info, visit www.wefnc.org

DEC 5 Downtown Boone Art Crawl
Walk around Boone, and experience local art. Free food and drink are provided by some local businesses, but participants are encouraged to purchase art.

DEC 5 – ASU School of Music Holiday Scholarship Concert
7:30p at Farthing.  Admission is $5, featuring too many ensembles to name. 

Dec 5 It is not too late to sign up for the last Playhouse Parents’ Night Out of 2008!
5:30pm – 8:30pm
Enjoy some well-deserved adult time while your kids have a blast at The Children’s Playhouse (400 Tracy Circle, Boone)! Ages 18 months-8 years. A peanut-free snack will be served. $12 for the 1st child, $6 per additional sibling for 3 hours. All proceeds benefit The Children’s Playhouse. Call 263-0011 to sign up.

Dec. 6 The Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas Concert at Farthing.
