August Weekend Events: Time for School Again…UGH! 8/5-7/11

It’s August…Already! And school will start in just a matter of days. Are you ready? Not me! My thinking has been – It’s Time for School Again…UGH! As I stated in last week’s post, I feel as if I’m just getting started in my summer, but the season and time of year certainly doesn’t take me into account.

So what are we to do, you ask? Well, we can decide that we are going to get ready for change and help our kids transition into a new year of school. Let’s have a great attitude, plan some “Getting Ready for School” activities, purchase school supplies, and above all else…Have a good time doing it! Believe me, I’m speaking to myself here!

And, don’t forget…It is Tax Free Weekend! That always helps with staying on a budget. So make sure to look for great sales in your favorite stores.
