THIS WEEKEND: Don’t Miss the Beauty and the Beast Ballet and Carnival of the Animals!

This evening (Saturday) at 7 PM, and Sunday at 3 PM, Studio K Dance Workshop will present the ballet Beauty and the Beast, and Carnival of the animals! Tickets are $11 for adults, $8 for children at Farthing Auditorium in Boone.

There will be hundreds of children and adults dancing the popular story of Belle, the Beast, the Enchanted castle, and a little town in the countryside!

But before Beauty and the Beast grace the stage, Studio K dancers will perform the Carnival of the Animals, based on the eclectic orchestral suite by Camille Saint-Saens. The movements feature birds, fish, roosters, A swan, a kangaroo, and more!  The music and choreography ranges from mesmerizing beauty to zany humor!
