Blowing Rock Art and History Museums Weekly Kids Art Classes

It’s time to get creative. Here is the schedule for this week’s art classes at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum.

Afternoon Art Club
Tuesday, February 23, 3:30 – 4:30 pm: Imaginative Sculptures!

The project this week at Afternoon Art Club is Cardboard Art! Come transform plain cardboard into colorful imaginative sculptures!

Come join the fun! You will need to RSVP by 5pm on February 22. Email brahmkidsart@gmail.com to RSVP.

The cost for the Afternoon Art Club is $5/child.  You can purchase a $20 Afternoon Art Club card for $20 that is good for 5 classes (1 class free), or your student can attend free with your family’s Museum membership.

Doodlebug Art Club
Thursdays (1 – 2 pm) & (3:30 – 4:30 pm)

Preschool-age children and a parent/guardian are invited to Doodlebug Club — a fun, educational art program focused on basic art skills (holding your paintbrush, identifying primary colors, etc.) while introducing children to different art media, from watercolor to clay. After clean-up it is storytime! This program is a great way to introduce your child to art and meet other children and parents.

Members free / Non-members $5.

Space is limited, registration required.
