Holiday Family Sing Along at the Hayes Center!

On Saturday, December 11, the Hayes Center will host a holiday sing-a-long for the entire family at 6pm, open FREE to the public. Hot chocolate, apple cider and snacks will be available. Donations of any amount are appreciated, and they are also asking those who attend to bring a canned good to donate to the Hunger and Health Coalition in Boone. So warm up your vocal chords, your hearts and your tummies and come for the Holiday Sing-A-Long at the Hayes Center, which will be led by Steve Frank, radio personality and one of the directors of the Watauga Community Band.  Many groups will be joining Steve and maybe even a few surprise guests. Bring the family for a festive evening to celebrate the Yuletide season. More details will be announced soon.

The FREE general seating performance time for the Holiday Sing-a-Long at the Hayes Center is Saturday, December 11 at 6pm. Doors to the theatre will open at 5pm (no tickets will be issued for this event). A basket will be in the lobby to accept donations to the Hayes Center Repositioning Fund that will help sustain limited operations during the winter and spring months until the grand reopening in Summer 2011. Boxes will also be in the lobby in which to collect canned goods. For more information, visit www.hayescenter.org or call 828-295-9627.
