Get Ready for the Boone Service League Fashion Show!

Amy, Lillie, Tiffany, and I are so excited about the Boone Service League Fashion Show and Auction this Saturday!  Last week, three of us (Amy had to work – boo) went to Mast General Store to try on some clothes and we had a great time!  Of course I had to bring my Flip Video Camera!   Here is a preview of what we might be wearing at the show, and Amy’s outfit will be a complete surprise:

Calvin Klein is here!

The Blowing Rock Tanger Outlet Mall just added a new store; Calvin Klein! I am so happy to have Calvin ck-whiteKlein at our doorsteps!  I really like the variety of clothes that they have to offer to us. They have some really neat and classy pieces. You can usually expect to see a 20% -40% savings below retail prices at the Tanger Outlets.

I get very excited when a new clothing store comes to our town because my trips off of the mountain to shop for myself are very rare.  I really like finding something that not everyone else is wearing as well.  I am kinda funny about getting  that one little piece of clothing or ck-shirtaccessory that is unique to me. So, I  think  that the more variety there is , the  less  chance there will be for my twin to show up at an event!

The staff at Calvin Klein are very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the experience of shopping at a new store and for a fraction of a second I felt like I was shopping in a big city!  That is always a plus for me when I am shopping.

Did you know that AAA members can save at the Tanger Outlets? Simply show your membership at the customer service office and they will  give you an exclusive savings booklet with bonus discounts from various stores. I was not aware of that until today. I will definitely need to check out that savings booklet. Go to the Tanger Outlet website for sales and coupons.  http://www.tangeroutlet.com/BlowingRock

I would love to hear from you all as to what your favorite shopping stores and boutiques are here in the High Country. Especially, if you have some that go beyond Harris Teeter and Walmart 🙂
