Shrek the Musical: LIVE in the High Country

Shrek The Musical

We have been awaiting all summer for this big debut. BeanStalk Community Theater’s presentation of “Shrek the Musical,” starts Thursday July 30 and goes through Aug. 1 at Watauga High School.

Amy Beane, Creative Director, says Shrek the Musical follows the storyline of the first “Shrek” movie, while adding song and dance, an adaptation scripted by the Theater for Young Audiences (TYA). Unlike the Broadway adaptation, the TYA adaptation is suitable for kids of all ages.

Come out and support our local theater. It will be a fun show for all ages. The shows will be at 7 pm on July 30 and 31 and 2 pm on Aug. 1. Tickets cost $14 for adults, $12 for seniors 55 and older, and $10 for kids ages 12 and younger.

For more information, visit BeanStalk Community Theater’s website or call 828.312.0263.
