Tweetsie will be open Christmas this upcoming November and December

Have you heard the news? I have wondered for years why Tweetsie does not have a Christmas event. Obviously, this must have been a thought on many people’s minds at Tweetsie as they released big news last week to the Watauga Democrat.

According to the Watauga Democrat, for the first time in almost 30 years, Tweetsie will be opening its gates for Christmas this upcoming November and December.

We’ll be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. from November until Dec. 30 on Fridays and Saturdays,” noted Cathy Robbins of Tweetsie Railroad. “The main attraction will be a lighted train ride with a Christmas theme.”

It was stated that Tweetsie Christmas will be a permanent event. Robbins noted that plans are still being worked on regarding pricing and what sections of the park will be open, but one of those plans is selling Christmas trees in the parking lot.

As I receive more information from Tweetsie and their public relations team, I will share it with you. Stay tuned!
