Horn in the West Opens Friday {Special Discount for Watauga County)

Since 1952, America’s oldest Revolutionary War Drama has thrilled over one million audience members. Loved by old and young alike, “Horn in the West” is located in the Daniel Boone Park in Boone, North Carolina.

This year’s staff are busy putting together the final touches for the season opener this Friday night!

Did you know the cast and crew of “Horn in the West” are all professionals, hired through a series of combined auditions throughout the southeast? For the 2015 season, the casting/hiring team auditioned and/or interviewed over 4000 aspiring applicants to bring you the very best ensemble possible! Read more about the show here.

A special discount is being offered to all Watauga County Residents for the Friday and Saturday night show. All Wataugans with proof of residency (NCDL or utility bill with address) will be admitted for $10! That’s $14 off the reg. adult price and $2 off the reg. child price! Show starts at 8:00, and the Hickory Ridge Living History Museum opens at 5:30 – 8:00.
