Thanksgiving Inspiration for a Natural Home and a Thankful Heart

Thanksgiving comes during a beautiful time of year. In many parts of the country including the high country the leaves have fallen from the trees, but Thanksgiving decor continues to remind us of the beauty that fall brings.  There have been Thanksgiving pasts where a blanket of snow has fallen and other years where there still may be some golden leaves on the trees.  My prayer is that our hearts would be rich with thankfulness as we are reminded of all that we are continually blessed with.  This Thanksgiving inspire thankful hearts with natural and creative decor to add to your home.  I put together a few photos of some Thanksgiving decor that can help inspire us to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation and foster thankful hearts in each one of us. Here are a few ideas:

A tree with meaning.  A tree with little notes to remind all who enter about the many blessings that God has provided.

A colorful calendar to give us 30 days of inspiration towards a heart of thankfulness during the season. Though it might be a little late in the month to start this project I think that this would also be a great idea during the Christmas season as well. If you have an advent or Jesse tree tradition with your family you could add it to your normal routine.

You can never have too many rings of thankfulness surrounding your home.

I heart hurricane lamps. There is so much that can be done with them to make beautiful decor no matter what the season.

This beautiful box is filled with plenty of fall, a beautiful addition to all who enter your home!
